This website came about after many arguments on Facebook following the US 2016 Presidential Election. There have been many inflammatory incidents around the world in our recent history as a human species that has caused much tension. We at Learn 2 Love found ourselves getting caught up in the negativity and hate fueled by our own frustrations with where the culture is moving.

And then we decided we could change it.

We decided we could change culture by changing ourselves. It a single moment we decided to dedicate our lives to spreading love to all those we come across.

It hasn’t been easy. Our culture does not teach us to love. It often teaches us to fear “the other”, to fear those who are different than us. Therefore, we must take it upon ourselves to teach each other. This is what we aim to do with this site.

It is important to note that what we say “spread love” we do not mean “get over whatever you are upset about”. We do not aim to belittle important social issues or tell people their struggles do not matter. In fact, quite the opposite. We want people to approach their problems with love, rather than hate, as hate will only breed hate. We want people to see that there is so much beauty to life, even when it seems darkness is taking over.

We wanted to provide a forum where we as a collective people can come together and teach each other to love.

So how are we going to do this? Well for starts we have created a forum where people can share images, videos, gifs, poetry, essays, articles, etc. that all promote the message of love. We feel love is an umbrella term for equality, justice, compassion, collaboration, and much more. We hope that people will submit things, either original pieces or things they have found, that we can post on this page to share with others.
